Mission of the Parish Council

The mission of the parish as defined in the Uniform Parish Regulations – and therefore the mission of the Parish Council – is “… to keep, practice and proclaim the Orthodox Christian Faith pure and undefiled.”

Parish council members represent their parish and the Orthodox Christian faith. As leaders of the community, parish council members are on the front lines and are able to have a long-term effect on their parish. To serve on the parish council is a ministry and those who serve are called to represent Christ to all whom they meet in all aspects of life.

The Parish Council convenes monthly on the last Thursday @ 7pm.

Meetings are presided by the Parish Council President: Currently - Chris Aivaliotis

Council meetings are open to all parishioners.

The Parish Council holds a General Assembly meeting annually to discuss the state of the parish will all members.

Nominations for Council Membership are made at the General Assembly meeting and selected by an election process open to all adult parishioners in good standing.

Council Members are elected to a 3 year term with a 5 seats elected annually.
